PROMISES
People make promises all the time. Sadly, for many reasons they may not be able to keep them. God always keeps His promises. We can hold on to them in difficult and dark times. We may not know when, or how but we know that God will follow through on what He promises.
Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discourages, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
Isaiah 43:2
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.
I Peter 5:10
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
