CANINE ASSISTED THERAPY
For many, there are places deep inside us that only a canine companion can reach. For some, it is a place of anxiety, pain and loneliness that we cannot put words to. The calm and loving acceptance of a dog can make a profound impact on the restoration and healing process. This is canine assisted therapy and it can be with done with your own dog or in a therapeutic setting with a therapy dog.
WHITE DOG BLUE dogs have been the victims of abuse and/or neglect and are in the process of healing. They live in their forever homes with their owners. They have been temperament tested by an Animal Behaviorist and been deemed non-violent. Those that are certified therapy dogs are registered with The Alliance of Therapy Dogs. A piece of their healing process is being a part of trauma healing therapy with humans. They are also actively involved in Animal Assisted Therapy & Education training with TRUE BLUE. White Dog Blue dogs can be part of private or group sessions.

REMI
Remi's trauma was debilitating when she came to us. BUT... her tender heart pushed her past her fear to engage with those she senses need her most. She now works with teen girls as part of TRUE BLUE, a youth development program. She is also a certified therapy dog and participates in private and group coaching sessions. Remi is a beautiful reminder of true resilience.

CAROLINA
Carolina was the first member of the crew. Her sweet, gentle, yet energetic spirit has been enjoyed by many. She is fearless, curious and ready for any adventure. She is known for her fantastic smile, side eye and deep lean-in for endless petting & kisses. Carolina is a certified therapy dog and works as a reading buddy with the RED ROVER READERS & The TRUE BLUE Program.

SOPHIE
Sophie is the baby of this crew. She is still in training. As a very small pup she experienced extreme physical and mental trauma that have left her with a disability (you wouldn't know to meet her). She is compassionate, engaging and intelligent. Her crew members are helping her learn to trust humans. We look forward to having her join the therapy dog world some day soon.
"There is something very special that happens when you connect with a whole hearted dog. When we rest in their presence, our heartbeat joins theirs, bringing us peace, contentment, acceptance for who we are, and joy to share."
